At Far North Physiotherapy, we don’t believe in stringing out treatment plans or keeping patients longer than they need to be. We assess properly, explain clearly, and build a plan that gets you back to what you love as efficiently as possible.
That approach has earned us the trust of the Cairns community, elite athletes, and the Northern Pride rugby league team. And it’s the reason our patients refer their families and friends.
Far North Physiotherapy was founded by Simon and Wyam Morris. Simon is a physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience across private practice, elite international sport, and community health. Simon and Wyam Morris established the clinic in Cairns in 2023 with a clear goal: to bring the clinical standards of elite sport physiotherapy to every patient, regardless of whether they’re a professional athlete or someone who just wants to move without pain.
That vision shapes everything about how the clinic operates. Every physio at Far North Physiotherapy is here because they share that standard, not just technically, but in how they listen, communicate, and build genuine partnerships with their patients.

Simon has served as team physiotherapist and sports medicine manager across more than a decade of elite international sport. From the Rugby League World Cup to the Papua New Guinea Olympic program, international cricket, netball, and rugby sevens, the clinical standards developed at that level are the foundation of what we bring to every patient in Cairns.
We’re based in Earlville, but our patients come from across the region. We regularly see people travelling from Atherton, Mareeba, Port Douglas, and Innisfail — and some making the trip from as far as Mount Isa — because they want a level of care that’s worth the drive.
For patients who can’t make it in person, we also offer telehealth consultations. If you’re in a remote part of Far North Queensland and need expert physiotherapy advice, an assessment, or a program you can follow from home, we can help without you needing to leave.
Whether you’re an elite athlete or just want to move through your day without pain, we have the expertise to help. No referral needed.
